Krzysztof Fails At Gamedev ?!

Hi Guys!
I know, title of that post is so  heavy and depressing...
meh...
I'M KIDDIN'1!!1!! hahahaha lol xD

Here's the thing:
My friend show me a curious theory or a method? People are trying to focus on success, they're running for success... But failure is a painful thing... So why not to change a think? Maybe is it good to focus on failure? I know it sounds riddiculusly because failure bring us down, leaks us with motivation etc. But here's a funny thing. If You want something (in my case I want to be full time sound designer in a gamedev studio) you will face many fails, disappointment and many many more. But you will do your best every single time. Right? So this method focus on failures. I have to send 100 CVs till the end of 2018 and try to be 100 time rejected. Insane right? But you need to know I need to do my best in every single CV. I need to learn new methods, techniques to be (in my opinion) the best candidate for this job. So I try to be rejected but in the same time I will learn tons new stuff. Even how to make 2D graphics for games!

You can check out my progress on a special twitter account :) https://twitter.com/Krzyszt57705079

So... YOLO!!! :D

But now, please listen to one of my tracks from upcoming board game : Champions of Nexum

Hello World!

Hello Everyone!
It's really hard to begin, but now this is my first step into sharing my knowledge with You guys!

Maybe I will start from introducing myself. My name is Krzysztof Kus and I am a sound designer and music composer from Kraków (Poland). I started my music and sound journey in 2005 when I loved sick trance beats. Yeah trance music turned me on! As a young kid I was dreaming about turning melodies in my head into real musical pieces. Tons of determination and motivation later I made my first hands up (it's a kind of trance music) track. It sounded awful as hell but I was proud! After many years I'm owner of a Synthphonia - epic music composing company, I'm also a game and movies sound designer, post-producer, even a voice actor! Look what sick trance music did to me! :D

Everyone in his/her live will say to itself : if I want to increase my skills, I need to share my knowledge to other people. It's a duty. So... Welcome in my video blog series called : Spe…

I'm kidding. Today I will talk about my sound design in our Ludum Dare 41 game called "Trishoot".
Here's the link to Trishoot : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/trishoot  (just download and play :) )
(this is the shoot of the gameplay)
The concept of this game came from game designer - Kornel - who shot an idea "Let's compare match-3 with shooter). Oh I just forgot to mention : theme of LD41 was "Combine 2 incompatible genres". So whole team loved the Kornel's idea, and we started prototyping. When I heard this concept, I immediately looking for the best audio solution of this game. Lucky (or unlucky xD) for me was fact, that we haven't any graphic artists, so (I did some sketches when I was young xD) I decided to make a graphics too. That was a really good option for me and audio, because I was the creat…
